Hands-on skills and craft are the foundation of our humanity. From wilderness survival to leather craft to bird language, these are the ancient practices that made us human. Today, they bring sustenance on many levels.
Skills education is offered through a lens of personal and community healing, with a commitment to justice and intersectionality. Our teachers offer instruction from their own lineages and ancestries, and share culturally-appropriate knowledge within workshops and group settings.
Skills are taught in an environment of curiosity, respect, and dignity between humans and the more-than-human world.
