Holistic First Aid
An introduction to basic first aid care and emergency preparedness. Incorporated are elements of Wilderness…
I studied at the School of Traditional Western Herbalism in Portland, OR and am a graduate of Wild Seed School of Herbal Studies’ advanced program, on Salt Spring Island, BC.
I am a first aid attendant in backcountry camps and I incorporate plant medicine into my repertoire to enhance the first aid tool kit. Holistic First Aid, combining modern science with verified ancient plant knowledge, is a special love of mine.
My apothecary contains wildcrafted herbs harvested from the Pacific Northwest, Kootenay region, and the Rockies – in Salish, Sinixt, and Shoshone territories, respectively.
These harvests are used in herbal medicine workshops, my first aid practice, and in private herbal medicine consultations.
Consultations are private educational meetings about the use of herbal medicines.
These consultations can be geared towards personal health questions, holistic approaches to injuries or chronic conditions, and/or herbs for the local gardener, tea connoisseur, or medicine maker.
Consultations are long-distance via phone or internet app (Skype, Signal, or WhatsApp).
They begin with an intake form over email followed by the 1.5 hour consultation with herb recommendations and information.
